From Ali
Yesterday Lily, Haylie, Elyssa, Carolina, Blabina, Valeria, Maria, and I went to Cortesia. It is a desert museum with every thing from fossils to live black bears. there was an exibit on snakes and even coyotes. After the museum, we went to a candy shop. I bought like seven different types of Mexican candy.

Sounds like you all are having a GREAT time! How is school? learning everything in Spanish? How big is their school compared to ours? Do they have a gym? Keep the blog "a coming!" we are loving it! :-D
ReplyDeleteNice to hear from you. Where's the snow? Have a fun and safe trip.

Hmmm.... I think that when all the students return to the U.S. we will need to enter them into a Mexican-Candy-Withdrawal-Rehab Facility.
ReplyDeleteThey have a beautiful campus! Half of their classes are in English and half in Spanish. They don't have a gym, although they do have a lovely sports complex near the school with playing fields. They have 300 students in their school, with 70 in the Middle School. Tomorrow we travel to Grutas de GarcĂa! We are having a great time and will see you soon.
